Trail Day – Ten Years Gone

Come out to help us finish building our brand new trail ‘Ten Years Gone’ for our Jumped Up Loops project. It’s almost finished except for a few hundred meters of the 6.8km loop that need bench-cutting! No experience is necessary and you do not need to be a CMBA member, but please RSVP below.

We’ll meet at 9:00 am in the Pinetop PRA parking lot (map below) and after a tailgate-talk  we’ll ask you to sign a waiver and hike about 15 minutes to the worksite, where we’ll work for about 3 to 3½ hours.

Please bring something to drink and wear sturdy shoes/boots. If possible, also bring work gloves and eye protection e.g. sunglasses. We’ll bring all the tools and extra gloves, safety glasses etc. in case you need them.

We will provide a BBQ lunch (optional) at the end of the Trail Day (about 1:00 pm).

Do I need to be a CMBA member to volunteer?

No! We'd love it if you also sign-up as a member or make a donation, but volunteering your time is the most valuable thing you can do.

What should I bring?

Please bring a bottle of water or something else to drink. Trail-building is thirsty work! Also, please bring and wear sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots. If you have some favourite work gloves and sunglasses or other eye-protection, bring them too. You might also want to bring sunscreen, insect repellant, a rain jacket, a hat/cap and a snack.
